Looking for ways to give back, become a valued partner with the Weeksville team?

Weeksville Heritage Center is looking to establish volunteer corps who are interested in assisting our teams with events, rentals, and programmatic needs. This would include the setup and breakdown of programs and events, wayfinding, light housekeeping, grounds maintenance & greeting visitors and guests in conjunction with Weeksville staff.

Executive Assistant to the President & CEO

The Executive Assistant is an important colleague who will support the President & CEO and institution to work in a number of ways including: administration, program execution, correspondences, relationship building and management. The position works strategically to manage the CEO’s time and commitments.

Director of Administration and Finance

The Director of Administration and Finance serves as a key member of the senior leadership team. The role oversees organizational operations, budgeting, financial reporting, accounting, compliance, and information systems. The Director ensures that the institution maintains strong financial health, operational excellence, and administrative systems. The ideal candidate is a strategic and collaborative thinker with substantive management and financial stewardship experience alongside a commitment to advancing the mission and values of the institution.

The Oral History & Digital Archives Intern

The Oral History & Digital Archives Intern will work closely with the Collections Manager and Collections Assistant to support the processing, preservation, documentation, and accessibility of Weeksville Heritage Center’s growing oral history collection and digital archives, while gaining hands-on experience in oral history, archival processing, digital preservation, and collections management.

Building Custodial Assistant

The Building Custodial Assistant will assist and ensure that through the provision of quality custodial and maintenance services: staff, administrators, curators, and students have an environment that is safe, healthy, and responsive to educational programming. The Building Custodial Assistant will assist with the day-to-day running of the facilities and grounds. These services include but are not limited to: cleaning and inspections.

Development Associate

The Development Associate provides essential administrative, operational, and logistical support to the Development Department at Weeksville Heritage Center. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Associate supports donor communications, individual giving activities, fundraising campaigns, grant coordination, Board engagement, and event support. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive professional interested in learning all aspects of nonprofit fundraising within a dynamic cultural organization.
